Priceless Poetry

OK, here are a couple of poems that I myself did not write but still enjoy all the same. ( For this first poem, Betty Botter, try to say the last line 3 times fast :D )
 Betty Botter
Betty Botter bought some butter.
"But," she said, "the butter's bitter.
If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter; that would make my batter better.
So she bought a bit of butter, better than her bitter butter.
And she put it in her batter, and the batter was not bitter.
So 'twas better Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter!

Next we have a very short one that is humorous and cute :D

My Puppy Loves Flowers
My puppy's in the garden.
He loves to smell the flowers.
To help them grow my puppy always
sprinkles them with showers.
-Bruce Lansky

And lastly, we have another short poem that is... well... interesting.

A Young Farmer Of Leeds
There was a young farmer of Leeds.
Who swallowed 6 packets of seeds.
It soon came to pass
He was covered with grass,
And he couldn't sit down for the weeds.

Thank you for reading these wonderful poems that some people wrote! I hope you enjoyed them!

My Review for "Where the Red Fern Grows"

Daniel Boone and his Coon Hounds; Old Dan and Little Ann became Top of the County Coon Hunters.
But, sadness struck the tight-knitted  threesome. Difficult changes Daniel must undergo will help him start a new chapter in his life. Where the Red Fern Grows is a heart capturing story about a determined boy and his dogs.        I encourage readers to, at some point in their life, read this story. It is a book that will surely teach the true meaning of "Puppy Love" and determination. I will admit that at the beginning, I was skeptical that I had found a good book. My mom kept telling me that this was a childhood favorite of hers so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Once I really got into the story, I was reading page after page, Chapter after chapter. This book will keep readers glued to their books. On a scale of 1 star to 5 stars, I give it a 5!

Welcome!

Hi! Welcome to Kirbysspace!  I am very excited to begin. This blog will give me a chance to put things out there, to speak my mind, and to see what YOU think about it. It will be about  what I think about certain books I read, some poetry I like to write, stories that are true and stories I wrote that are fiction, and other things.
So, thank you for taking the time to read my blog and enjoy!
